I am having some difficulty with my compact flash card, it is a 256MB PNY. The problem is, I take some pictures, turn offthe camera and then later when i go back to check out the pictures on the camera it says, " NO IMAGE" on the screen. And then also lately I have been have corrupted data show up for a picture here and there. I am totally ignorant of all the digital camera stuff. I was also wondering if I need to do something before I detacht or attach my card reader to the computer. i use Roxio. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You probably need to format the card in the camera. Once you do that, you should not have corruption/fomat errors. While it is unusual, it is possible that the card is defective.
I assume that you did not have this problem with the Canon flash card packaged with your S50.
