Here are some of the problems that i would like to fix:

:D 1. When my battery is low the dely between holding the botton and taking the picture is very long which results in blury pictures. But the past few months I've been having the same problem even with a new battery. Was the setting changed? Can it be changed back? Or is the camara dying?

 2. This problem may have something to do with the first, but the batteries only last about half as long as they used to, and the camara itself seems to be functioning worse. It also seems like the picture quality has been getting worse. All pictures turn out darker, with or without the flash on, and the color is definitely not as vibrant.

:( 3. I'm also having problems with the viewer. When I zoom in the viewer gets blury, but then the picture isn't blury. Is that normal? I don't think it used to do that. Overall, I've had this camara, just over a year, and I hate it more every month. I take better pictures on every other digital camara.

You have not mentioned what camera you actually have...
And have you contacted Samsung yet, about it?

Samsung is not such a hit, eh, "Hitman?" :(

If you could ... like "COLDRAIN" suggests, I'd contact Samsung's Customer Service and see if they will give it the examination that it sound like it requires. I'd detail the problems clearly and try and get some results. You may wind up with a new camera out of it.

No one should have to deal with this kind of progressive failure, but sometimes it happens. Environmental concerns could also be at the root of it, if you are the only one experiencing these particular issues.

Just for argument sake: Why did you choose SAMSUNG? Just curious.

As Coldrain said, you hadn't mentioned the specific camera type, but it seems like you're using AA batteries for it? And it may be just my impression, but I'll bet you're using the non-rechargeable alkaline type batteries? One improvement to your situation would be to try using rechargeable NiMh batteries, that will outlive alkaline batteries by a bunch. You can usually buy 4 of them at a time with a convenient charger for about $20? Might be worth a try if you aren't doing it already.
