NO clue about which camera.

I'm looking for a digital camera preferable under $250 with 3.2-4.2 megapixels. These are the cameras I have looked at so far:

-Nikon Coolpix 4100/3200
-Olympus Stylus Verve
-Canon Powershot A75/A85
-Olympus Stylus 410

Good choices. I have used both, and prefer the Canon for several reasons incuding better handling, a larger LCD, full manual capability, and use of lower cost/higher capacity Compact Flash memory cards.

And just to prove my point I put my money on the A75 as a gift to my mother-in-law for Christmas. :eek: Guess I better remember to reset the counter as I have been "testing" it quite a bit. Definately a fun little camera.

No I am not planning to trade-in my D70 ;)

After much deliberation I decided to go with the p72 only because it was a bit cheaper, had more video capabilities and I didn't care much for manuals. Take a look at em and see which you prefer. The a75 is still a great digicam.
