Canon ZR85 Help

Hello,
I am having a problem with my camera. I was recording one day, and then the screen just turned black, but I can still record sound and view pictures, I just can't record. And yes, the battery is fully charged. I don't know if this is a lens problem or if I accidently changed something but I've been working on this for a week and I can't find a solution.
Please help!

Not sure if you've already found this out but I had the same thing happen to mine. I called Canon and they told me that there were several models (camcorders and cameras) that had a bad batch of CCD's in them from the factory. They replaced mine in record time and no charge. They paid shipping both ways. I will try and find the link but I would advise you to go ahead and call them ASAP.
