Miscellaneous

Are there particular brands you like or hate? Have the Canon S2 but not sure if they will let me keep it in concerts? Like it. Dislike Kodak

Are there particular models you already have in mind? no

(If applicable) Do you need any of the following special features? (Wide Angle, Image Stabilization, Weatherproof, Hotshoe, Rotating LCD)
Image Stabilization would be nice.

This camera wil be mainly used for concerts, in lowlite, needs to be compact so won't get taken away, a powerful zoom that will focus and perform well in low lite. I guess thats about it unless you can give me more hints and tips on what I need and the best way to capture them. I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!:)

An ultra zoom that performs ok in low light (your concerts) and is smaller than your S2 IS does not exist.

There is one ultrazoom that is better in low light, a Fuji S6000fd... but it is even bigger than the S2 IS.

So, you have to make a choice here... I would suggest dropping the ultrazoom requirement since the low light requirement is not an option.
The Fuji Z5fd will be your best option in compact and low light performance.

Thank you so much for your time and reply. I will check into the Fugi Z5fd that you suggested. Thanks again! :)
