i bought some really nice old f mount lenses from a photogrpahers flea market type deal today. i havent went home yet to try them out but i was wodnering if they will work with the d50?
i know thier manual only wich im fine with for the lens and price they were, but are they going to mount on and work in manual ?

Shoey,
I think there are only a few F-mount lenses that will damage your camera. I am sure with a little research, you will be able to find it. But DO research first - as I am certain that there are some out there that extend TOO far into the mirror box.

i know what u mean but these ones are fine. ive used them all weekend.

Check page 106 in your D50 manual. There is a chart of compatible lenses. Also, go to <www.nikonusa.com>.
Click Photo Support and ask the queston for a specific lens.
