Well i have my panasonic fz20, but I also want a second ultra-compact digi for when i dont' want to bring the big pana.
One of the top few was the SD200 (along with casio's ex-z40).
Just wondering if anyone would be able to post up some pictures that you've taken with the SD200 so i could check out picture quality since I've heard various comments regarding picture quality.
Thanks :)

Hi Dan-
I,too, am a very happy owner of the Z20 and also a very happy owner of SD200...if you send me a pm, I can email you some pictures- not sure how to post it here
To be honest, I think the photo quality of the Canon S410 (owned that one too) might be "slightly better" BUT I found it too bulky to be "pocket-able" esp. if you used a protective case (which I always do)....I took a bunch of pictures with my SD200 down in Florida recently and they are GREAT although none that are museum quality. However, I should mention that the ones by the outdoor pool came out INCREDIBLE. But for your need and mine, I believe it's the perfect traveling companion. I have abandoned the "endless search" for the "perfect, does-it-all" digicam. Take the Z20 whenever you know that you will be taking some pictures. The nice thing about an ultracompact is that you can toss it in your purse/pocket and capture moments you would have otherwise missed. Also, the battery life of the SD200 really impresses me - I believe it lasts 50% longer than my S410 did. Anway, I will happily email you a bunch of both indoor and outdoor pictures although you might be sick and tired of looking at pictures of my 2 young kids.

Hi
Just changed from Nikon CP4300 to Pana FZ20 this Christmas and still working hard to tame it: learning curve is slow but results are promising. (check some "displayable" ones on: http://siipc17.epfl.ch/cgi-bin/show.plx?dir=/2005/01/FZ20). Still lacked a small, pocketable digicam... and chose Canon's Ixus 30 (aka sd200)... don't expect, as already said, Nikon's sharpness, but good color balance is there, the camera is extremely fast and well suited for everyday moments.
As ranked in:
http://www.viewscore.com/category_page.php?categoryID=3&full_list=1&sort_by=5¤t_dir=asc
by major digicams reviews, it's 7th, just behind Nikon's D70... (BTW, FZ20 is 4th...)
Best regards
