Hiya!
I've got a Nikon 3700, and am after a tripod for it.... I'm new to this game, can I buy ANY tripod? (or at least, any Hama tripod).
Thanks!
I'm pretty sure you can buy any tripod for your camera. As you're probably familiar already with, a tripod has a small unit that screws into your camera, and then the camera and the unit are inserted into the tripod.
As long as you stick with that type of tripod (if any other types exist) you should be fine.

You can get tripod heads that some with either 1/4" or 3/8" screws, the majority of cameras have a 1/4" thread and as such you would need an adaptor screw if you wanted to mount on a 3/8". Reliable, quality makers are:
Velbon
Manfrotto
Gitzo

Basically get one that you know will be good for what you are looking for. Just make sure the screw is the right size
