Ok, so I had an SD300 - absolutely LOVED the camera - ended up losing it in Florida.

Obviously I need to get a new camera and I have been struggling between the Canon and the Sony. Ive seen both in person. The SD800 has gotten a little bit hefty in comparison to my SD300. Additonally, I've read some good reviews regarding the 800IS, but also some lukewarm to poor reviews. Whereas with my previous SD300 there were hardly any bad reviews.

Side by side, I prefer the Sony. Its a sleaker design and im usually carrying my camera whilst wearing a suit etc and that IS important to me.

However, at the end of the day, I want the better camera as they are both the exact same price.

The one disadvantage that comes to my mind immediately about the Sony is the fact that I already have plenty of SD cards - which obviously can't be used in the T50.

Thoughts? I need help - I was also pseudo-considering the S7c but didn't seem like it did that well. Image stabilization is something I look for. Manual controls don't interest me.
