Greetings, new member with new FZ50 and a problem that has me stumped.
I am guessing that this is the place to find more experienced heads than mine, so here goes.
My experience is with a Sony H1 which is used mainly in manual mode, with this every change I make to exposure is directly displayed on the LCD image, so the shot can be set up before the release is touched and I know exactly what is being caught.
Now the FZ50, here the LCD gives no hint of what is actually going on until the button is half depressed, so I find myself trying a series of guesses and pressing the button between each try untill the exposure ends up somewhere close to what is wanted. Meanwhile the bird is half way to Florida for the winter.
I cant believe it has to be that way, so any help would be appreciated.
