Because the Fuji film sells could borrow “FinePix S5 Pro” on the 31st, the appearance photograph and the menu screen are published. In addition that it became the base of S5 Pro, we convey also the comparison with Nikon “D200” which is guessed with the photograph.

The big difference with D200 with the image pickup element, has adopted the super CCD honeycomb SR of the effective picture prime 1,234 ten thousand pixels Pro. In addition, while restriction to longest 30 seconds being attached, it actualized the live view with the color.

When glance you look at the body, with D200 you become aware in the point where the rubber of the grip part which is red has become black. The for the sake of that, the feeling which settles a little was received from D200. Promptly when it tries holding S5 Pro, as for the body the impression, D200 very thing. The rubber which is wound in grip is difficult to slide, also feel being the same as D200. Also the finish of the body surface is D200 similar.

When you look at the rear, idea contest indication of the left side button differed from D200, color of the idea contest which is the beige with D200 became white and became easy to see. In addition, allotment of function differs somewhat. Layout of that [ho] other button and the switch has not been different from D200.

Range of vision ratio of finder, as for magnification ratio and eye point similar to D200. Actually the difference with D200 was not found with method of being visible that it tries looking. Feel of shutter button D200 and most same. Also shutter sound has been similar well.

On the one hand, the picture of the menu and setup has become D200 and the different thing, graphics of the menu is the design which makes the compact digital camera of the Fuji film think.

Ya. Fuji has long used Nikon camera bodies and then dumped their own technology inside. The S2 is on a N80 chassis and I think the S3 is on a D/F100 chassis. From the looks of it the S5 is built on the same chassis as the D200. I really couldn't understand the comparison (I don't speak their language), but features, feel, look, and lense availability will be exactly the same between the two. I'd like to see a photo comparison, but I have a feeling they will both be very similar.

I used to run a Fuji fixed lense, they make an excellent product. I would suspect that the new S5 would perform very well.

S5 Pro is reported to be a major improvement over the S3 Pro in terms of handling capability and build quality. Curiously, it is similar in appearance to Nikon D200 although the mechanisms inside are different. It utilizes a SuperCCD SR Pro imaging chip that claims to offer improvements in noise, dynamic range, colour, and tonality over its predecessor. To learn more about this amazing new release from Fuji, one is advised to visit this site, http://www.smartratings.com/review/photography/digital_cameras/1028 , where expert reviews for S5 Pro are compiled and aggregated. Hope this helps.

There are lots of reviews of the S5 Pro on the net. Just search for them using google. Our friends over at dpreview.com has a comprehensive test of the S5 Pro.

I personally think the S5 Pro is a great camera. Excellent dynamic range and tonality. The only problem IMO is the small buffer and long write times to the card with the huge 24 MB RAW files.
