Hi.

I am a lucky owner of brand new Canon A640 and willing to buy some accessories: teleconverter and uv/cpl filter. And here's my question:
do i need to put filter in the end (after the tele) or can I put it right before tele? I'm considering TCON-17 tele-converter which has no thread at the very end, so i would be not able to attach filter. What do you think?

You can mount a filter to the front of a T_CON 1.7, filter or whatever.

First, find a (cheap) thin 77mm UV, knock out the glass.

Press fit the 77mm filter ring onto the front of the T-CON, check to make sure it is level, then epoxy the filter ring onto the T-CON.

You can mount any 77mm ring or lens hood once the eopxy is set (24 hours).
