Uhh, not to be rude but... who cares?!?!?!
I can understand your excitement because the Bears have sucked for many, many years, but your thread has nothing to do with photography.

Oh, come on lighten up a little. :) I hope you're not just a sore loser. :D
I know shooting with a Nikon can make you grumpy but no need to take it out on us. :D :D :p JK he he. There now the thread is photography related.:D
Nope, not a sore loser, had no affiliation with either team last night. I just dont think its the right place for this unless its REALLY photography related, or whats to stop someone from posting a thread on there basketball team making the championship, or the baseball team, or whatever it may be. Its opening up a can of worms that doesnt need to be.
Congrats, the Bears won, go get drunk, light some cars on fire, get arrested, enjoy. Lets keep the photogrpahy sites about photography :D
Its interesting how Canon ppl always attack Nikon ppl, wonder why...jealousy?:D :p

The only reason the can of worms was opened is because someone has a problem with the thread beause it's no photography related.
So Don, you plan on going to the game? If you did, what camera and lenses would you bring?
There, photography is now in. Nickcanada, your Nikon comment was nicely put.
The only reason the can of worms was opened is because someone has a problem with the thread beause it's no photography related.
Wrong, the "can" was opened when the thread was posted. Just a reminder for those that may have forgot, its called "General Digital PHOTOGRAPHY Chat". If you dont know what that means, I feel for you. Anyway, I am finished reading and posting on this useless and pointless topic, besides, Im off to go buy a Peyton Manning jersey:cool:
Nick, same here, was just playing around with you too.

I took the image in my OP post with my Canon EOS 20D and the TAmROn SP AF17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di-II LD Aspherical (IF).
That image didn't just appear in my post, you know. Someone had to take it ... and I suppose I was elected to do so. I had the camera, I had the subject and I pulled the shutter release on it.
My intent was to demonstrate the sharpness of the LCD monitor with a reasonable camera snappin' the shot. Just because DA BEARS "killer win" ... uh, 39-14, happened to be on it, at the time ... well, I figure so much the better.
How 'bout that ... PHOTOGRAPHY? :D

Okay, everybody, to the tune of the BEARS fight song ...
Bear down, you shutterbugs, make every image a shot of victory;
Bear down, you shutterbugs, put on a lens to use significantly.
We’ll never forget your use of imagination, with illumination.
Bear down, you shutterbugs, and let your pictures just astound.
Take your favorite toy from Illinois, "Hey Shutterbugs, Miami-bound!"
Did you see that sea of Canons at the game. I'm betting every rig was $10,000 or more. Where do these guys get that kind of scratch?
 Aint life grand!?!?! Not the best picture by any means, but it gets the point across:D Taken with my parents Panasonic DMC-LC43. Nifty little camera....

Yeah ... the Bears did what no other NFC team could do this year ... advance to the Super Bowl. Better luck next year ... for the other teams, that is.
Sour grapes, you say ... perhaps, but it was a very interesting game, to be sure, hinging on some rather impressive mistakes. You weren't waiting for a good play, in this game ... you were waiting for the next mistake. I'm not exactly sure what that means, but it just doesn't feel right.
Did anyone else get that impression? Well, I could be ... mistaken.
I know had they played it in Chicago ... this game would have been one chilly event. We have been at below zero, all day long. A ground game, for sure.
