Does anyone have an idea why my snow pics always come out so blue? I have not got too much experience with photography and my camera isn't real expensive, a Fuji A350, set on auto flash for these.
How can I take better shots in the winter?

Looks like you need to set a custom white balance. If your camera is capable of it, the manual will tell you how.

You may also try upping your exposure in manual mode (if you have it) or adding some exposure compensation. Snow is very bright and the meter wants to make everything 18% gray and adding exposure will help out.

Also, like Don said, you may need to check your white balance setting if you have it.

Snow reflects a lot of UV light. On a dSLR I'd say use a UV filter. On a compact, set the white balance to daylight rather than to flash and see what happens. Alternatively, post process it out.

Many digicams (including newer Fuji models, but not, apparently, this one) have a snow scene mode, which will handle the blue cast and also set the exposure correctly -- normal auto-exposure mode tries to make the scene be average grey, and snow scenes are usually actually much brighter than that. (So, you should add some EV compensation.)
