not only am i stealing aparmley's flash photography style....but i used his tutorials to learn how to use masks...i've done this type of stuff before, but it was never this easy. thanks for the help. feel free to c&c.

used another layer with light blue paint and blending modes to make the eyes look more realistic. thanks to a buddy at school that gave me the tip...

and i ordered a book called down and dirty tips...supposed to be a great photoshop book. we'll see.

Adam, I'm interested to hear how that book works out for you. I'm looking for something like that. I'll let you be the guinea pig for this one....LOL let us know how the book is though.:p

well hopefully i'll get it quick. the place it ships from is only 30 miles east of me. then again, it's media mail so you never know. and it's half.com...i've already been stiffed there before, paid for the book and it never showed....i got a refund, but it took 3 months and i had to drop the class as a result..so technically i lost money.

I don't think anything is original to me so no skin of my back Adam. I like the second image best! nicely done. I have 2 of Kelby's down and dirty tricks. . . I'd say they are ok books. A lot of the book is publication oriented. but there are some good tips in there.
