any good books???

I am new to this and wanted to know if there are any rec. on sites or books to learn about digital camera and post production. I have been fooling with the aperatures and iso but not sure whre to go from here for changing the raw images. I am amazed at all your work, just seem to have no clue as to what to sharpen or adjust.
