Wow! My friend's 5D (50mm f1.0).

Man aaaa live! WHERE'S THE NOISE?

.... exiting the limo at hotel side after a cruise up the coast a bit chasing the Sunset.

Re: My first real wedding ...

We had a blast! The B&G invited us into the limo for champane and party time for the drive to Malibu - beach sunset shots and others to follow.

But in quick review - I just can't get over this ISO 3200 performance! I want one (sniff, whine)

This is the only shot I had of essentially the same thing. My 30D ISO 1000. f3.5 35mm (on crop - so same as 50mm on 5D). Flash fired.

Oops on the focus. Just about as clean I think. (I left PP alone, to show comparison).

So much potential, but a shame about the focus. With these ultra-fast lenses, you really do need to be soooooo critical with your focus.

Either this was central AF point (the bouquet is sharp) or auto AF - neither is probably suitable for this shot, but hey now you know for next time!

The noise is good, but focus has to be paramount! :D

Thanks; I should have mentined that the first shot wasn't mine. However; there were some natural light shots - from INSIDE A MOVING AND BUMPING LIMO that she took where I could not believe her focus and the clarity. I'm learning so much from her. I tried using flash and only a couple were presentable. Should have either risked ISO 3200 and/or set the flash way way down. I'll post a sample later.

Yeah; these are not for the portfolio, just was so amazed at how usable ISO 3200 is on the 5D!
