i'm really glad to have it back, i missed it...
30d w/ 50mm f/1.4...i shot with higher ISOs than normal for me...and slow ss to get more natural light in the pics...all shots with 580ex bounced with sto-fen omni bounce diffuser...feel free to C&C, i would rather get that then the "pics look good" comments. lemme know what i can do better and don't hold back.
most of these are only touched by levels and a little extra contrast...only one sharpened is the b&w. most are about 15% or more cropped.

Technicaly they look good to me. What i think they lack are intresting subjects/ poses. Maybe try experimenting with different lighting/backrounds/composition. My favorite animal shots are action shots or intresting animal interaction shots.
I don't see much noise in any of the images. They look very clean.

Awesome photos Adam. Its amazing how much a little flash helps when shooting high ISO isn't it? Good to see you finally got it back in working order.

Glad all is well. How much did they charge for the repairs, if anything?
My critique on the photos would be hypocritical. The "poses" are kinda boring. But my pet photos look the same. Might want to add more FEC to the shots where the white dog is filling the frame more. Damned E-TTL II at it's best.

the repairs were $127...it only took them about 2 weeks in all even though i kept waiting on that guy to pay me for it. finally i just paid for it and it came back within the week.
here's another shot i took today of buddy. i know, still boring, but it's been cold and rainy the past few days out here. woulda rather shot this with my 24-70 to get a wider shot, but i'm lazy.
no flash

haha i wish it was that easy. i had to get them all riled up by acting frantic and getting them to start barking and looking around. i don't know what it is about the words "skit em" but they start looking for people to attack.

Universal dog lingo, same as giving someone the bird, works in any country:D
