Hi Everybody,

I've recently purchased a Sony DSC-W100 8.1 Megapixels digital camera with a Memory Stick Duo Pro of 2GB. It works great and shows impeccable performance than the previous models.

My problem is as follows: i shoot photos and they are automatically stored in the memory stick. That's fine! but when try to review the photos I shot in the camera, some of them display full screen while others display first full screen then into a small thumbnail. The problem photo is shown as a thumbnail even though the chosen mode is single-display mode. this happens even if the problem photos were shot with the same settings as the ones that display full screen. When i transfer them to my computer, the problem photos are corrupted and there is only an X red icon.

Important to note that this happens only when the memory stick is inserted in the camera.

Question: is it from the camera or the memory stick?

If anybody has experienced the same problem and found out the solution,I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance :)

Hi everybody,

happy to tell you that the problem is radically solved. The problem was with the memory stick duo pro. It was a fake Sony memory stick and was also defective. I got a new ORIGINAL one. It works pretty fine.

thanks
