So I'm driving through Mt Annan Botanical Gardens in Sydney's West, and minding my own business when suddenly out of the corner of my eye I am distracted by a tree in the surrounding landscape.
I rubbed my eyes, checked the bottle next to me....yep, just plain water and slowly looked up and out the window again.
Now in Australia, we have a tree called a Blue Gum.. Not sure if this is unique to Australia or not....but I'm damn sure they don't come this blue anywhere else in the World.
I kid you not....this is the actual photo with no post processing.....

Could park ranger painted it blue for some kind of marking or something. Somehow, I think it is not natural and normal;)

Someone with a lot of time on their hands painted that sucker. (Notice no leaves in the middle of summer? They must have killed it.) Is that what you guys do for fun down there? ;) Definitely makes for a cool photo though.

The problem is that after Britain exported its undesirables to Australia, the Australians have now taken to exporting their undesirables. Hence you'll find that Kylie Minogue, Danni Minogue, Clive James and Rolf Harris have all been exported and are now not in Australia. It's therefore highly unlikely that they will be found hiding behind any bushes there.

Nice capture Gaza, must have been the weirdest landscape you've seen in a while...or ever. Unless there hasn't always been water in your bottles. :p
I'm not sure but I think you still had the settings on your camera from the tennis as you're at ISO 800 with a really high shutter speed.

Ok....here's the story.
It is not photo shopped, although obvioulsy, it is not in it's natural colour.
Why someone painted it that colour I have no idea....but imagine the effort involved to do each and every last branch at the top.
I'm also intrigued how, even though the photos have had no processing, they all look "photo shopped". It's almost as if the camera didn't believe the scene :D
Achuang...I'm not sure how the settings were left in "tennis" mode as I had taken other photos at this park before I was assaulted by this tree. I think I was mucking around with Aperture values at a waterfall (more like a trickle) and to get faster shutter speeds I had to up the ISO. Something I am yet to get the hang of is re-analysing all of my settings at the next photo opportunity :o
So there you have it.....believe it or not.
