Went for a walk at lunch time
I will have to revisit this shot when the sun is a bit lower

Drought affected grass to blue sky, like the colour progression

Me too. :)
Agreed, I reckon that first one has a lot more potential with some late arvo contrast.

That first building is awesome - perhaps it does warrant a larger photographic study in various lighting.

I have two questions.
Photo 1,
It seems like the left side of the building is a little blurry or so. Is it caused by the sunlight or by the curvature of the building or something else.
Photo 2,
Does too much sunlight cause the tree leaves to look somehow lack of definition and detail? I mean it looks like the tree leaves reflect a lot of sunlight since the sun is probably directly on top of the tree.
Thanks in advance.

Second one is a good photo but I'd crop/clone the burnt dead grass out of the foreground. First one has a lot of potential but I'd leave less headroom next time. (Not that you'd really care what I'd do... :o )
