I never really liked my Canon Rebel. I always felt the exposure was very tempermental and the colors kind of dull. I want a DSLR that will consistantly output acceptable exposure levels. I was always led to believe that DSLR's purposely under expose pics, is this true? I love the speed of a DSLR and I cant go back to a regular camera as my son just will not stay still long enough to take good picture. Additionally, I hate the color produced by the canon, images just seem flat. I used to have time to mess around with photo editing but not anymore. What DSLR is for me?

Generally all DSLR's do less sharpening and saturating in the camera as that gives you more control over the final image. Take a look at cwphotos pics as he only does minor adjustments in the Canon DPP software.
Alot of guys in the Canon DSLR room dont do mush post processing on Photoshop AFAIK
P.S. you can adjust the way a 350 etc takes the pic buy upping the sharpness and saturation in the camera if you want. Not sure about the 300

Ha ha, he actaully wants a good camera:D
If the photos are all post processed using zoom browser and the saturation etc is maxxed then it should all be fine.
