So the temporary gig is progressing CW ?
Lovely and sharp (and those stage props that you use as backdrop signage looks so much better than mine :D ).
Crash course learning the players' names ?

Wow! Well more great shots Christian. It still takes me some getting used to the idea of a US$6,500 lens though. http://www.canogacamera.com/detail.aspx?ID=4512 Oh man, it's 12lbs weight too! That weighs more than my niece!

Thanks for reminding me. :(
The VISA statement is due next month. :( :(
Great shots Christian. I know that 400 is a sweet lens but are those straight out of the camera or any PP. It amazes me how your sports shots are so rich in color and tack sharp. How many pictures do you take when you go to these events? Number of keepers vs. deleters? The 135L is on my list for next year. Thanks.

Thanks Boog.
All I did was apply the STANDARD Picture Style to all of these. Almost all were taken using the Daylight WB (some in shade were using Shade). Some under twilight (none posted here) were given a +1 boost in Contrast.
All PP done in DPP, output to JPEG (7). Default sharpening as per STANDARD PS.
The STANDARD PS does boost colour a bit above NEUTRAL, which I favour for W&P.
I took around 1,000 at this event. Deleted about 250 which were mis-focused/mis-framed etc. Of the rest the ones I posted are obviously the most dynamic/saleable. The 400/1D combo really is a focusing powerhouse though - I can't take all the credit. :o :D
