Which Sony is best?

I'm trying to decide which Sony digital camera to buy. I've read a lot of good things about the W-1, but then I read that there are issues with the flash. I just want a 5 MP digital that's easy to use and produces good quality pictures. There are so many that I'm overwhelmed! I've seen good and bad things about the W-1, V-1, V-3, P150, etc.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

is there any particular reason why you want a Sony digicam as opposed to one by other manufacturers? do you have a bunch of memory sticks laying around or something? ;)

the W1 sounds like a decent choice... not sure what issues with the flash you're talking about though. there are going to be good and bad things about every camera out there, but i would recommend taking a look at all the 5 megapixel cameras out there, not just the sony ones. just about every camera is going to have an Auto mode so they're all going to be fairly easy to use... some cameras will have more options for you to grow into though if you're interested. if you make your decision based on the quality of the sample images and the available features then you should be okay.
