has anyone tried this thing ? it looks unbelievable ! sure it aint gonna work on DSLR right now but for a little compact this seems like an insane addition to the camera bag and at $30 it's not that risky to buy one and see if it works. imagine the angles and perspectives you can get from this thing ! all i can say is...WOW.

The vast majority of the shots in tell tale positions seem to use P&S cameras. An SLR might be a bit of a gamble "just say no" lol.

wow.
i would be too tempted to throw my camera at things just to see if it sticks.

It says on the site that it will only hold compact cameras up to 10 ounces (300 grams). It also goes on to state that it will only hold those cameras long enough to compose the shot and activate the self-timer. I would not mount this thing at any angle or distance from myself where I couldn't catch it if it did fall before the shot was taken.

The things people come up with.... I watched the video and the woman said you could attach the pod and camera to the head of a golf club and just "swing away"! LMAO, come on now... I can just see someone tryin that and looking for his/her ball in the air and actually notice its his/her camera instead:eek:
