I currently have dust on my CCD. I've got a cleaning kit on its way but until then, it is horrible.
Is there a program out there I can use to remove the spots? I've got some great landscape pictures with two little black dots on them. It is like death...
I do have the trial version of Nikon Capture. Will that do it as well? Thanks.

Yes, dust is a yucky fact of life :(
But post-processing programs can remove it from the picture for you. I'm not familiar with Nikon Capture, although it probably can do it. The manual/tutorials will probably mention it.
The two programs I'm familiar with that have this feature are Photoshop Elements and Paint Shop Pro. They are available for around $100 and both have 30-day free trials that you could use until your cleaning kit arrives :) Look for the "clone" or "spot healing" feature. You Can Also Try Using Roxio PHOTOSUITE 5 Standard Edition. I Use It To Remove Red Eye And The Sorts Work Great For Me. I Don't Know The Cost As It Came Bundled With My Printer.

AVD Graphic Studio provides over 20 tools to work with images - cropping, resizing, rotating, bump mapping, histogram equalization, mirroring... Generally, it is very powerful! Maybe it can help you.
Try it!:D
