These are the results when I used my 400d with it's kit lens ( 18-55) ( first 2 photos) and my Tamron 70-300mm Macro 1:2 ( 3rd Photo) for some macro pics. I decided to see how good the kit lens was at working macro after seing someones brilliant macro pics on this forum who used the 400d and kit lens. I thought I'd give it a go. So here are my results: Apart from re-sizing, none of them have been edited and the ones posted here are just a selection of about 30 that I took in my back graden yesterday of the same subject. Any comments on them would be much apreciated and constructive critisism is most welcome. Does anyone have any suggestions on how best to edit them? They were all taken in raw and jpeg and I have photoshop cs2. Thanks

When elarged, the subject seems to be sharper and more detailed in the first two pics.
