Like just about everyone else, it seems, I'm trying to decide on my first digital camera. My main consideration is that it takes beautiful, clear pictures (sounds obvious, but I just wanted to clarify that I'm not just looking for a "cute" camera :p ). It will mainly be used for everyday and travel photos (including night cityscapes, churches, macro shots, landscapes, etc). I'll be having the photos printed, mostly 8x10 or smaller, occasionally larger if possible. I use a Mac (OS 10.3), so it'd help if the camera was easily compatible.
Any suggestions for a good, easy to use camera, that would fit these specifications? There are too many choices and I'm overwhelmed :rolleyes:! I'm looking to spend around $300. I've been looking at the Canon A85 and 95, and the Fuji E510, but I'm up for other suggestions.
