Hello,

I am a newbie to Nikon D200. I recently purchased a new Nikon D200 from Crutchfield and so far really love it. I have couple questions please help me:

1. Is there any option from Nikon D200 menu to know how many pictures have been taken so far?

2. How to check to know if I have the latest firmware ?

3. Should I contact Nikon Support and give them the serial number to verify the product is not gray market?

Thanks,
Danny

1. No, you need an exif viewer like opanda to see the total shutter actuations.
2. Go here http://support.nikontech.com/cgi-bin/nikonusa.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=13783&p_created=1133899490&p_sid=bHpvJiqi&p_accessibility=0&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX 3Jvd19jbnQ9MTU3JnBfcHJvZHM9MCZwX2NhdHM9MCZwX3B2PSZ wX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJ nBfcGFnZT0xJnBfc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9ZmlybXdhcmU*&p_li=&p_topview=1
3. If you are worried you could. Crutchfield is pretty reputable so you are most likely ok.
