Well I can't say I got the SB800 but the SB600 is just as good and will do me a whole lot of good for portraits and using it as a fill flash. Its still being shipped with a nice tamrac bag from B&H, so hopefully it'll be here by tomorrow or wednesday. I'm so happy I can't wait!!! I hope everyone had a merry christmas with their Nikon's;) .
Any body else get any new cool gadgets for their camera?
I purchased the Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S DX Zoom lens for myself.

I got several Nikone gifts for Christmas but my favorite was the SB-600 flash. I guess I can change my signature block now :)

OK I'll ask. What do your cats do for a living. :)

Typical cat things--nothing, unless eating and sleeping counts. To top it off, they even have a full-time staff on call, me.

My actual Christmas presents were the Lowepro Mini Classic Trekker and Bryan Peterson's Understanding Exposure.
Since it is the giving season, I gave myself the SB800 and the 70-200vr a couple of weeks ago. Merry Christmas to all and God bless.

I got a manfrotto ball head and a 20 mm extension tube, and love them both. I am so excited to be able to do macro work with my D80 now.
Hope everyone had a good Christmas.

:( I wish I was adopted by two millionaire cats like you :(
I only wish they were millionaire cats and let me control the trust. ;)
Bad thing though... they have 9 lives, each!! So youd be waiting a long time for your inheritance! :p
But if I controled the trust, I really wouldn't have to wait. ;)

Hey I see you are using an expo disc, how do you like it? I am thinking on getting one and I have read many good things about it :)

Well I didn't get anything camera-wise for christmas (I didn't ask for anything in this department) so I bought a 18-200VR and it'll either be here friday or saturday. To sweeten the deal, I just got a 10% off coupon so I'll be able to knock a lot off the initial price.
So now I've got a 18-55 kit lense, a 28-80 lense, and a pretty nice 70-300 lense I no longer need.
Here directly I am gonna buy a Tamrac bag for my camera. Another "late" christmas present for myself.

The Sigma one? :o
My H got me the ML-L3 remote. Now all I have to do is find my tripod.... (We have a lot of things packed due to recent home improvement projects.) I also bought myself the Lowepro Slingshot 200 and a spare battery. I had a Nikon gadget pack on order through Amazon but they cancelled it on me. :( And since I had said I was going to order a camera bag, I picked this one out. I like it! And I have space to grow some so that makes me happy. I tend to carry a lot of crap with me. Don't know if that will change as I get better.
Besides, I have 2 more lenses on my wish list.
