After a bit of looking around here in Japan, I've found that my cheapest option to buy a camera is on an american military base where my friend works.
I was originally going to buy either th Pana FZ3 or the Canon Powershot S1 IS but on base they dont have the FZ3.
The only Pana model they have is the FZ10 but its on sale at about $350.
The S1 is $380. If I want to buy either of them off base it will cost me about $500.
My question is how do the FZ3 and S1 compare in terms of image quality, especially at low light levels?
Obviously the Pana is 4mp vs the 3mp Canon but also the FZ10 is a bit old and I've read about some low light image problems.
