I bought a PowerShot S3 IS recently and love it very much. However, I ran into some problems when I tried using SD card reader to download photos. My computer is running Windows XP SP2. When I used Windows Explorer to view the SD memory, some of the photos had preview and some hadn't. I could copy and paste all the files. Those photos had preview had no problem be opened on my PC. All other files could not be opened even copied to the PC.
The problem happened when SD memory was in card reader. There was no problem if the camera was connect to the PC with the included USB cable. My SD card is a 2GB Kingston bought from buy.com last week and the card reader is a SanDisk SD/Compact Flash combo USB1.0 version. Could this be a problem with the camera, SD card, card reader or something else?
