Ok, I am getting a digital camera for christmas, and I want the one that you can do that effect where it is all black and white except for one colour that gets highlighted.

This was from one of my friends off another forum, was just wondering if someone could give me a list of camera's that do this type of thing. I know you can do it in photoshop how she wants to camera to be able to do it. I Don't know what the feature is called otherwise I would of googled it. Thanks in advance.

that effect was probably done in adobe photoshop using the color adjustments (probably the replace color option).

Nah she said the actual camera did it, but can't remember the brand or anything... :S

The cameras in the Canon PowerShot SD series do this. They include the SD600, SD630, SD700 IS, and SD800 IS. This feature is called Color Accent.

I have the SD700IS and didn't know it has that feature.

I guess I don't use this camera much.
