With so many choices around..I am really confused on which camera to buy.

My priority in order for the features:

1) Best movie mode with Sound and Zoom during shooting
and no limit on shooting ( except the media) . Really want to avoid
carrying/buying the camcorder.

2) compact

3) bigger LCD screen

4) Better zoom than 3x

5) MP ( even a 3.2 MP would do)

I really thought about S1 IS...due to my option #1 and 4 ..but the size/wt. is restricting me. The other cameras I am looking at:

S410, SD300, Panasonic FZ15 or Sony DSCP 5.1 MP ( since its compact and screen is 2.5'' but I think 5.1 is a waste for me )

Any suggestions looking at my priority order?

Thanks,

The top-of-the-line movie mode you want is very, very rare on cameras; VGA 30fps is getting more common, but zooming during filming is extremely rare. I've found it only on the Canon S1 IS and Konica Minolta Z3, and those aren't very compact.

You may need to change some of your requirements; also, if you want to shoot video, you might as well buy a camcorder; you can still view your videos on the computer and e-mail them. The file sizes will be much smaller and the videos smoother.
