I will be buying a new camera within the next few months. It will be a transitional camera for me, something to use for a year or two or three while prices of digital SLRs come down, and the designs stabilize. The C-740 and the C-765 both seem like good choices, but I have been unable to find the answer to one crucial question in choosing between them: How much difference is there between the EVFs on the two cameras? Is the second much better? Can you adjust the brightness of the EVF on the C-740?
I've looked at the descriptions on the Olympus site, read dozens of amateur and professional reviews, and tried to find a C-740 to look at, but haven't been able to find one in this area (Seattle suburbs). Thank you for any help.
