Does anyone have the Canon case PSC-90 for their SD300? I have the PSC50 for my S230, and it's nice and thin, but I read somewhere the PSC90 has a belt clip (Canon site has very little info). I need a good case for my SD300 and want to stay very small, but protective.

are you familiar with the iskin line for the ipod? its a thin molded rubber sleeve that slips over. i wish there was something similar for the sd200/300.
the canon case was nice for my s400 but still too bulky and never ended up carrying it around. my s400 was scratched but never in a way that ruined it.

I like my S230 case, nice and tight leather (PSC50). But it seems the PSC90 for the SD300 has a belt clip and that's my concern.

I'm currently using a tiny vinyl case that came with $10 ear phones that fits the SD300 like a glove, but the velcro closing part is about 1/3" too small. My biggest concern is scratching the screen, even though it's under the edge of the camera. I carry the camera in my jeans front pocket daily.

That's the part I'm most worried about too.
Since I do throw it in the pocket everyday, maybe just a screen protector will do the trick?
I still think a molded rubber or plastic contraption would be the smallest, thinnest and most protective.

I happen to have just bought the case. The case has a belt loop, not clip. The case is pretty compact, and the camera fits quite snugly. The leather looks great, I really like it.

I contacted both Canon and iskin about offering a rubberized vinyl case for these cameras. I think it's a great idea, and maybe if they hear from some of their customers they will take this idea seriously.

I got a zipper top coin purse at Target for my SD200 that works get. Snug fit.
Need to get one where the zipper wraps around the sides a bit.

There's a guy selling Snug Neoprene custom camera cases for sd200/300 (as well as other poular models) on eBay for $16.50 - looks a lot like what you might be looking for :-) The seller's ID is " atomichh " . I just bought one-will let you know how well it fits.

Check out http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00065L5SK/104-8816783-1591144?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance - the cool thing is that you get the case, which is actually pretty compact and does a good job of protecting the SD300 / SD200 AND gives you a spare battery, which is cool to have for these cameras.

Those bags that come with sunglasses work pretty well. They cost only $6 at Sunglass Hut. No shock protection but keeps it clean, scratch-free and you can throw in extra stuff like sd cards or an extra battery. I did the same thing with an S230 for four years and it worked great.

During my initial love affair with the camera, I recommended it to just about everyone who would listen. 3 really good friends bought the sd200. Just the other day, 2 of those friends told me seperately that they cracked the screen of their cameras. shocking to say the least. i still haven't gotten a case but not am extremely motivated to buy one. the repair bill from canon is $137. not as bad as i thought but still pretty bad. my friend is going to try and buy the screen from canon and repair it himself. hopefully that works out and is much cheaper. anyway, i still recommend the sd200/300 of course since its so awesome. i'm just a little more careful with it now.

Have you gotten the case yet? i can't wait and am ordering one anyway :)
looks like its almost perfect for what i want. a thin rubbery thing i think would be better but this will do nicely.

sorry for the delay-my SD200 and I were in Naples, FL for the last 6 glorious days. And yes, I took my new case with me-lots of protection and very, very snug-love it !

If anyone is still looking, this looks like a pretty good deal...

Cases + Battery for around $20...

Case itself is $15...

S&H, add $5.

Many colors and several styles...

Not sure how they do it... No personal experience with Cutecamcase, but if legit, seems like a good way to spend $25...

I just bought the SD300 (got a great deal from Dell : $299 - 20%) and was looking for a nice case. Bought a cheapy from Dell for $9 (Canon PSC 60, should fit, right?), to get my order over $300 for another $35 off for a net price of around $213... But since I'm in Texas, add another $16 for tax. So still a decent bottom line price (at least today).

Anyway. I like those neoprene ones on ebay, but for now I'll cool my jets.

Just wanted to say thanks for the info as my searching led me here.
