I need to be able to shoot a wide range of pics in varied light, resolution needs to be capable of printing up to 13x19 on my 2000p printer.(upgrading from sony f505v.) I have no lenses for dslr. Would prefer to spend no more than $800 for camera...leaning toward the Canon powershot pro 1 for size, is the nikon 8700 as good, is the 8800 worth the extra money? maybe the digital rebel 6.2 mp though with a second lense is getting $$ier...will be working with photoshopcs to create varied artwork for print. I can work smaller for a while if looks like prices will keep dropping as they seem to be doing.
