I have the full CS2 suite. I use Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign, GoLive, each as individual applications. What benefits does using Bridge provide me? I've never been able to quite figure out its function in life? Can someone show me its benefits?

I use it to preview my RAW files and select the ones I want to convert in ACR. I guess it basically organizes, renames, etc.

In addition to previewing the raw files, you can use ACR from within bridge, including batch conversions.

Also, you can rotate your jpegs without re-compressing the files.

It seems to me like Bridge is really meant for integrating the various applications under Creative Suite, sort of an "executive" program to allow projects utilizing multiple programs seamlessly. So if I mainly use Photoshop, or Illustrator, and my projects usually involve only one of the applications, Bridge doesn't really seem to be of much use to me. Sure I could rotate JPGs in Bridge, I guess, but my first approach to that would be to do it in iPhoto6 before even importing it to the Adobe world. And I rarely shoot RAW, so having direct ACR capability doesn't add up to much value for me.

Thanks for your replies.
