Jessops U.K.Price Promise

:confused: Jessops are currently offering to beat internet prices. If you find a camera online that they sell and buy it from them they will give you"110% of the difference".Has to be a U.K.competitor e.g.Amazon U.K. and not a grey import.

This is very carefully worded but still seems on the face of it too good to be true.Has anyone taken them up on this?I would be interested to know how this works in practice.

It was advertised in the daily papers 2 weeks back,some camera mags and in some flyers that came with other magazines.

Interestingly I went into Jessops the Strand London when up in town last week to test it out.I asked what the difference would be on a Canon powershot G7 to be told that the offer had now changed and was no longer on compacts but just DSLR.Perhaps the idea was to just get people thru the door.

Well that would suit me as im hunting for DLSR. I'll be reminding them of this offer when i go January sales shopping!
