The purpose of this thread is to learn more about Photography. Ppl who know about it please contribute and let ppl like me learn this art..
Some common questions are the setting on Manual photography...

1. In what circumstances do you use Aperture and Shutter priority modes?

2. How do you take a good closeup shot in manual photography? (Aperture, shutter and exposure values..)

3. How do you take crispy clear Landscape shots?
(Aperture, shutter and exposure values..)

3. How to take capture moving objects like Animals or Waterfalls or vehicles or anything like that? (Aperture, shutter and exposure values..)

4. Low light shots without flash??

5. How to take clear and appealing portraits?

6. How to take better indoor shots without flash??

Your suggestions to thew above would really help ppl like me to learn more about photography..

Thanks a lot

I suggest getting this book, Understanding Exposures - by Bryan Peterson.

It will answer most all your questions in a easy and straight forward manner.

I have that camera too, its a pretty cool little camera. You should start with "P" mode. Just leave your camera on "P" mode and go take some pictures every once in a while go into the function setting and tool around in there and then come and ask what does what. IMO this is the fast way to learn what does what. I think the hardest part about photography is learning when to use what F stop and what shutter speed. In "P" mode the camera does all this for you but you can change things like white balance, ISO, color options, flash intinsity and EV settings.
