Hello,
I am looking to take some better Christmas photos this year.
What setting do you like to use for different shots?
Such as bw for some things? or other tricks to get night shots on lights, etc..

Also, what are your favorite Christmas shots?

thanks

Hi Greg:

That is a pretty generic question, so I will have to give a broad answer.

Indoor day shots of people opening presents is still pretty much a flash shot, unless you have a fast lens (such as f2.8 or better) , or big windows and/or perhap raise the ISO value to 400.

For outside shots at night of your house lights, you will likely need a tripod for starters as you will not be using a flash. Set the flash to off.
