Is Samsung Digimax s500 5.1M good?

I just saw this cost $93.55 at buy.com. Is this camera good? there is a canon powershot A540 cost $159.99 how is this samsung compare to A540? Thanks

I would rather go for a Canon A530 (now available for under $130 online) to the Samsung. Samsung makes a pretty good DSLR (well, they make it with Pentax), but their point and shoot cameras don't have great reputations.

I've also tried the camera myself. It's good for the price. On the positive side are picture quality, ergonomics and functions. On the negative are build quality, battery duration and speed. I think no cheaper camera today is better. But of course if you go the not so long way up to a Canon Powershot A530 you'll find a better camera in every respects.
