Hi Nikon Folks...

Been around the DCRP for a little while, but I've never been allowed on this board before. You see, I'm a Canon guy. I'm still a Canon guy, but now I have a mistress with a little racy red stripe on her handgrip. It's new love - only been going on for a week so I don't yet see her warts and stuff, but so far she's pretty hot!

Anyway, thought I'd introduce myself and offer a quick photo I shot yesterday of my wife's best friend's daughter.

The specifics:

Nikon D80, Tamron 17-50 f2.8, Nikon SB800 on a stand with a softbox/umbrella, commander mode.

Wonderful portrait!! Yes like everyone has said already, nobody really cares what kinda camera you have. These forums are to give information and trade information to one another, and some people that own a Canon might even know more about a Nikon than someone with a Nikon, or vice versa. We will love to hear your opinion towards both cameras.

Cincy, I do believe that would mean the Sb800 is off the camera on a stand with a softbox/umbrella to diffuse the lighting. And the commander may be a commander on the camera to sync with the sb800? Thats what I got out of it.
