K Mount

Hi I had a question. I checked the flange distances on the Pentax K mount and Nikon F. The F Mount is slightly longer.

Is it possible to do this?

F Mount lens to M42 Mount + M42 to Pentax K

So I can use Nikon F lenses on my K Mount Cameras.
