Hi :)
Appreciate your advice. I'm having a problem with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ5S Digital Camera. Apparently all the sudden, when I flick a pic, it's show up with a blank dark screen. Flash works, could this this mean I need new lense? My old pictures appears to be come up but any new pictures I take come out blank on the digital screen.
Anyone’s advice is greatly appreciated.

But if it means to "take a pic," and they're not showing up on your screen, it's not likely the lens's fault, something else. First I'd check the memory card, make sure its contacts are clean. If possible, try the camera with another card. If the behavior continues, and you've tried that, starting to look like a serious camera fault. Other than having the lens cap on, I imagine your camera would need to take a trip to Panasonic service?

I may be reading too much into what you said but it seems you do not format your card very often.....
That would be the first thing I would do Format the card in the camera......
If that does not help set the camera back to factory defaults and try again....
Can you see the photos on your computer?
As John said its possible the contacts are not clean.....look in the slot and check for dust and clean the tabs on the card with a pencil eraser.
I wonder could you have the write protect switch in the wrong position?
