What Mah are they? do they need a special charger or will they work in a standard NiMH charger?

Now a viable question would be: Where did you find these?

Why would you get those when the duracells are 2650 mAh

Thanks Daniel, I might reshoot them elsewhere.. the dining table (I think maple hardwood which is orangey) + incandescent means trouble with white batteries =(

with work, car, girlfriend, and sleep...
only 5-10% of my time go to taking pictures and playing with pictures..
so in other words. i probably take 50-100 pictures every weekend. at most..
so that leaves my batteries sitting in the cam for 5 days at a time just draining..

with the eneloops, theyre like alkaline.. u can leave em on the shelf for a year and only lose 5% power

In my camera bag, I have 2 sets of Batteries.com brand (http://www.batteries.com/productprofile.asp?appid=369262) (2500mAh; $8.55 a set) rechargeable batteries and 1 set of the Energizer (2500mAh).

I read on the powershot forum some other guy did a calculation or somthing and he said they will hold charge for about 30 days before they need recharged. Just sitting with no use will take about 30 days. The batteries are so cheap and they advance so quickly, IMO its worth it to just charge them every 30 days and have the camera ready when you need it.

I use to worry about batteries and how they hold charge and build memory and stuff but latley i dont even worry about it. Ill just get a new set, and probobly when i do they will be the next mAh up from the set i have. Even if i got only 5-10 charges from a set of these batteries, thats STILL saving money over alkalines. rechargables you can get now are a no brainer its a win win deal with them.

American electronics prices are dirt cheap compared to Canadian pricing.
If I want another set of 2500mAh energizers or duracells its at least $15 for 4pk.. maybe $20..

maybe this explains why I jumped on these $30 eneloops..
