I don't know why but I found this to be ROFL funny. Maybe it was because I read the whole thread in my head using an Eric Cartman voice. I'd have given anything to hear this with full audio!

i'm not sure why, but i see alot more nikon dslr's than canon from local photographers. i'm way too happy with canon to switch though. the lenses just look cooler. where's nikon's red ring?

I think they are referring to the red mark near the shutter button on the camera itself. Personally I think it is a nice visual to the camera.

In all honestly I use it as a "Oh, Nikon. Never mind." indicator when checking out other people's lenses. :P

But let's face it. When it comes down to it Nikon and Canon are basically the same.

I know, I know. It sounds crazy coming from someone who tells everyone who asks about a camera to get a Canon and never look back. But when it comes down to it every argument has a counter in Nikon vs. Canon.

Even some of their products sound the same. Speedlite and Speedlight? Bah!

Either way... Buy Canon.

Ask a Nikon guy and get a story about mythical fables and magic about how that makes Nikon flashes work. Ask a Canon guy and get a red marker so Nikon can remember what cameras they've made.
