lol that's about right.
"as he slyly approached, blending perfectly with the background and ready to drop to a knee and shoot instantly if needed ..."

No one would actually walk around like that. Any one want to guess how much money is around his neck?
He's got some yellow labels around everything ... some sort of press pass thing I suppose. Maybe that's a pro sporting event. Does that say "Stern Live"? As in Howard Stern? Maybe a celebrity event?

Guaranteed that's a press photog. If it was his own, it wouldn't be so beat up, pro or not. Gear really only gets destroyed that bad when it changes hands a lot....people generally care for their equipment when the cost is their own to bear, and don't give a rat's ass if the "boss" pays for it.
And I see a Nikon hanging there too. Maybe it's actually Jamison. :D

Take him? The fact he's still standing is amazing.
That really is rediculous. you've got to have overlap in what, 5 bodies?

I see Nikon straps attached to Canon bodies. . . ???
What really kills me in this picture is the fact he has baseball cleats on! ROFLMAO
Clearly he is at some type of PGA sanctioned event, you can see nicely cut fairway in the background and some grandstands in the far right of the photo way behind him. the tips of some bunkers can be seen. . .

Well I can say I have one thing in common with this guy: I wear knee pads when I shoot. Seriously, when I'm outside I use 'em. In fact I've already gone through one pair - they cracked in half. I just bought the heavy duty ones from Sears. :o That and my "Hummer" photographic vest from Adorama http://www.adorama.com/ZZVCMKM.html?searchinfo=vest&item_no=1 and I'm a total fashion risk when I shoot. (But no one is looking at me anyway...:( )

This guy is a STROKE VICTIM waitin' to happen. That kind of strap weight on your neck is simply suicide. He needs a pack frame or a wagon, to be sure.
And you guys are chewin' on me... overlap... sheesh

Seriously; he coulda hired a camera caddy for about $50. Probably worth that in reduced scratching alone!
I'd sure hate to learn the sad truth that he was only paid $100 for his day's labor! Wonder what those staff photogs get anyhow? You think a guy they trust with that much gear gets $300 for a day's shooting?

I'm sure some people would actually pay to have the chance to play with all that gear........But maybe not to have to carry it all the same time.
