Hi guys,
I am deciding between SD700 and Fuji F30.I know that F30 is very good in low light but I heard that SD700 is better outdoor. Is SDxx series really bad in low light situations??
I cant decide which one to buy.

what will u be shooting most? if most of your shots are gonna be indoor/low light night shot... like 70% of them..... get the F30. its not that far behind from being a top notch daylight shooter either.... in fact, its awesome all around =)

One thing I don't like about the Fuji is it uses xD cards  They're 2 or 3 times more expensive than SD.

I dont know how often I'll shoot outdoor or indoor.
I just want some all around camera,as I already own D50

Since you already have the D50, then go for the Canon Sd700, that way you don't need to "invest" on a new memory format and just share the SD cards between the D50 and the Sd700 :)

Thank you.I dont really care what format F30 use.If I'd go with F30 I would save over SD700 about $50,which would cover my XD card.
More important is overall picture between those two.

one thing u will notice is the flexibility of the cameras..
if your the type to compare your D50's performance to the smaller PnS,
u may be happier with the F30 especially with the higher ISO's
Av and Tv mode. custom white..
actually this sounsd kinda biased.. i need to research the SD700 to see the differences in more detail lol. sorry :o
