This company is out to rip you off. I almost spent an extra 300 dollars because they don't list the price as it really is. if you don't buy their high priced accessories, they will double the price. they also do not have the items in stock, or they just sell them to those that buy their high priced accessories. I was truly lucky to get my money back, but be aware. It's just too bad more folks don't read these reviews until after they get a bad taste in their mouth.

I am a 100% service-connected disabled Veteran. Since I am unable to get out to shop I do most of my shopping online. I purchased a Panasonic PV GS500 mini camcorder from Stop 4 Camera on Saturday morning Nov 25th. for 589.00 +39.00 for 3 day shipping. When I called to verify order on Monday Nov 27th, it took some time before I could get someone to speak with. I found that if you do not buy any of their accessories they do not want to sell you the item. The site states that they have this item in stock, but when I declined the accessories, they stated that my order would take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. I was buying this online with a Visa credit card which is in good standing. I also paid for 3 day shipping, but this is also a line because they offer 3 day shipping but then stated it would take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. I had to cancel the product because I am taking my family to Florida on December 22nd and cannot wait that long.
a trusted site should not be advertising for business' who have deceptive practices. As a soldier permanently scarred and unable to work fighting for my country, I am saddened by the fact that I fought in part to allow the freedoms our nation delivers so that companies like Stop 4 Camera can take advantage of deceptive online ads to pull in customers. It’s a disgrace to see companies like this exist. I know it must be difficult to manage and maintain good companies to buy from online sites, but someone should accept some responsibility for providing space to companies that use deceptive practices.
Stop 4 Cameras online ads that are deceptive and not true. I can show you a copy of my bill of sale from Saturday just to prove this company is bad news. and ultimately had to cancel because they told me I couldn't have the item for 4 to 6 weeks. If you do anything about this, I wish two things; 1. to stop advertisers like Stop 4 Camera from advertising deceptively,. and 2. To provide good informative, truth in advertising, and best deals on the net for folks like me to buy on the net.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope it helps.
By the way, every site these bad companies advertise on, usually pay on a per click basis. So when you see these sites that show 30 different companies and places like stop 4 show up, just click on the site and keep closing the link as many times as you can afford to sit there and waste your valuable time. these companies have to pay that site for every time you click on their link.
Not sure if you found this forum researching your vendor troubles, but both those companies (Stop 4 Camera and Express Camera) are listed on my "Bad" list. A little research before you buy will always make your life easier

Highly recommend NOT using this merchant. Sales personnel will use deceptive tactics to land a sale. If you need to return anything, you will pay a significant penalty (at least 20%). The Customer Service agents are arrogant, deceptive and disrespectful. Pay a little more (upfront) and buy from a reputable dealer.

I baught from them the price was nice, after I called to confirm they tried getting me to spend another 150 bucks for a charger, I asked the man to hold on and looked up reviews, and saw what a scam these guys were. Even with the charger I was still saving 100 dollars, so I went for it anyways, the man gave me next day shipping.
If you dont buy their high priced accessories they will screew you over, plain and simple.

i've seen many posts about these guys and the one thing that comes to my mind is that how in hell these guys continue to stay in business with their sub-human sales tactics.
I think the issue is that there are websites such as www.digitalsaver.com, www.shopcartusa.com, that come up easily when you search by google/yahoo, show merchants like bestpricecameras, broadwayphoto (mother of all rip-offs), with a high rating. So, while www.resellerrating.com gives www.bestpricecameras a lower rating, the others, give bestpricecameras a higher rating, and shoppers are fooled to think they are a decent e-tailer and make the mistake of ordering online from them.
I'm sure www.digitalsaver.com and shopcart.usa.com and others like them are setup by the rip-off's "union" to give these MF's higher ratings so people go to their website.
www.ratingsplanet.com is another crappy website that lists www.bestpricecameras.com as having great reviews. I'd like to meet the idiot that bought from them and had a great experience.
IMHO, any Internet order that requires you to call them back to confirm the order is a bait-and-switch operation.
anyway, my .02.

Hi guys, I'm brand new to the forums here, but a veteran to online shopping and ebay. This site is a godsend and a wealth of information. Keep up the good work.
My question is regarding JandKcameras, aka Bestpricecameras.com, aka infinitiphoto.com. They have a terrible reputation on the seller review sites, but they have fantastic feedback on ebay. I am shopping for a Nikon D200and I am not enough of a noob to know that if something is too good to be true, it probably is. Their prices are great and so is their feedback, but I smell a rat. How can they have such great feedback on ebay?
Any info or feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Happy new year to all.

If you don't need too much assistance and know what you want, you can always go through a reputable online discount store like Amazon or one of their many affiliates such as http://www.theelectronicplanet.com/category/c0014.htm
